There are exciting developments happening at Crowne Plaza. From the new Elephant Lounge Express at Vientiane Centre, to some amazing new plans at the hotel, from outside catering to jazz nights under the stars, there is something for everyone. Whilst continuing to provide only the highest quality eating experiences, in a safe environment, Crowne Plaza Vientiane is also looking to the future. As you explore the hotel you will discover different atmospheres, with exciting new food options, and exclusive drinks. Following on from the success of our fusion food, we are expanding this, and focusing on our farm to table range. In this way, not only can we provide the very best in local produce, but we are also doing so in a sustainable way, which promotes Lao businesses and supports the local economy. We have also extended our wine list, increased our signature drinks and we will be offering a range of frozen cocktails.

Elephant Lounge Express by Crowne Plaza Vientiane will have many of your favourites from the hotel with a few new exclusive treats. These include Crowne Plaza signature drinks, slushies, smoothies,  homemade ice-cream in a selection of wonderful flavours, light bites, and some fabulous new pastries, created just for you by our new pâtissier, Jeremie, who honed his skills at Michelin starred restaurants in France.

Meanwhile in the hotel, Gigi has been working on developing some exciting new menus for your favourite venues. Mosaic will be offering a new Mediterranean fusion menu to bring you those incredible flavours and merge them with some of the amazing produce we have here in Laos. While in the morning, the buffet breakfast will continue to offer a wide range of delicious options, with something for everyone. Do try the pastries. They are really good.

At 3 Merchants, the ever changing menu will continue to bring the very best of fusion food, in a fabulous setting. The lunchtime set menu offers a delicious three course meal at incredible value, whilst the evening offers the à la carte menu which combines Indochinese recipes, western dishes and a delightful fusion of the two, or for a memorable evening, the tasting menu is a special treat. And don’t forget the delightful fusion afternoon tea. It’s really good!

Jazz evenings under the stars and a host of other themed events are planned at The Link and Zen Garden, accompanied by Spanish Tapas and cocktails while the Beer Garden will offer live bands and a DJ on cool evenings.

During the daytime, Elephant Lounge will have a more continental feel as Jeremie creates cakes which will fuse the French delights of a patisserie, with some of the amazing flavours we have available to us here in Laos, using high quality ingredients and master pâtissier skills. The wide range of drinks will give way to a bar atmosphere as the evening draws nearer, and the focus will be on finger food, much along the lines of international street food, and served with cocktails exclusive to Elephant Lounge.

We are now able to offer you the Crowne Plaza experience at your home or office for you and your guests. Our outside catering offers great customer service with quality products. We can cater for your needs, no matter how big, or how small. From the party boxes which start from just a perfect amount for two people, up to providing a full catering service at your premises, we can promise a party to remember. These party boxes have proved so popular over lockdown that we are extending our range to include a healthy eating box and a brunch box, as well the four boxes we already offer, that include high tea with bubbles and the ultimate box. They make a good day into a great day!
